The Junkies: this is an online DIY Sitcom that was thought too controversial to be shown on TV, its about 3 heroin junkies. It features one of my favourite actresses Sally Phillips!

Icepick.com - A wired house: I forgot about this site, its cool, some guy has wired his house up, a bit like the current big brother craze. You can tell stuff like what was the last thing he trashed, or what was the last thing he had out of the fridge, or when the last time the doorbell rang! One question... WHY!?

I was just going to catch up with my newsgroups using RemarQ and find that the site has vanished, and they have been taken over by Critical Path. They now want to charge $100 for a years newsgroup feed! I prefer to read ng's online anyway, less harddrive clutter and no download times. Thank the web for Deja thats all I can say.

Its out! Check Simon Lovell's new book Son of Simon Says. His first book 'Simon Says' is still the most used, looked at and all-round favourite book in my Library, I can't wait to sink my teeth into this one, and I have heard he has a third book in this Trilogy due out next year called 'Grandson of Simon Says'!

So Barclays have a technical hitch in their online banking and most people seem to want to talk about the evils of using your credit card over the Internet. I know seeing other peoples bank details is a pretty major deal, but I'd rather give my credit card details to a site, who I know will encrypt my details on a secure server than to some waiter in a restaurant who can go away and do a carbon copy of my card, or am I just paranoid? I guess it comes down to the fear of new technology, like mobile phones cause a health hazard. Personally I think that the levels of radiowaves are well below standard.
